After a three-year absence, Taylor Swift is back at the VMAs.
The pop phenom graced the VMAs 2022 red carpet Sunday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, joined by Dylan O’Brien and Rina Yang — one of the stars and the cinematographer, respectively, of the Swift-directed “All Too Well: The Short Film,” which is up for five awards.
And Swift, 32, looked every inch the ever-lovely jewel (to quote her 10-minute hit) in a sparkling Oscar de la Renta dress covered in of thousands of shimmering stones, along with matching chandelier-inspired Christian Louboutin heels and — for even more shine — Lorraine Schwartz diamond drop earrings and rings.
She swept her hair back and parted her bangs down the middle, adding a slick of her signature red lipstick and a crystal-studded cat eye for added glam.
Page Six exclusively reported that the “Love Story” luminary would be attending the VMAs this year.
And earlier on Sunday, rumors started swirling after that Swift would be wearing this particular party-ready dress after Oscar de la Renta shared (and then promptly deleted) a Reel showing off the design up close, captioned with, “Shining just for you tonight” — lyrics from the songstress’ track “Mirror Ball” — along with a disco ball emoji.

Swift is nominated for Video of the Year, Best Longform Video, Best Cinematography, Best Direction and Best Editing for her “All Too Well” short film, which also stars “Stranger Things” actress Sadie Sink, as well as the “Blank Space” singer herself.
The “Folklore” favorite has stayed largely out of the spotlight lately, making only a few public appearances — including to screen her “All Too Well” film (and surprise fans with a performance) at the Tribeca Film Festival and make a cameo at one of Haim’s concert stops.
