Leonardo DiCaprio fails to keep a low profile in NYC amid Gigi Hadid romance
Leonardo DiCaprio isn’t hiding out amid his blossoming relationship with Gigi Hadid.
The “Titanic” star was very on-the-radar when he was spotted making the rounds in New York City Sunday night.
DiCaprio, 47, dressed to impress for the evening, kicking off his night at Noho hot spot The Nines. The actor was seen rocking a blue blazer, white sneakers, a Yankees cap and a gold chain.
He then made his way over to the ultra-exclusive members-only club Zero Bond around the corner for the “Amsterdam” premiere afterparty.
DiCaprio’s night out in the Big Apple comes amid chatter that he and Hadid, 27, are getting closer following his recent split from Camila Morrone.
Page Six exclusively reported this month that DiCaprio and Hadid were seen together at a New York Fashion Week party thrown by the Oscar winner’s pal Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol at a loft in Soho.
“Leo was with his guy friends and Gigi was with her model friends and they were all hanging out at a table,” a spy told us at the time.
And things seem to be moving in the right direction for the duo as they were photographed looking cozy at the A-list fête.
Sources also shared that DiCaprio and Hadid are “taking things slow” right now and just “getting to know each other.”
“[DiCaprio] is not someone who is in and out of relationships,” one insider noted. “He doesn’t jump around hooking up. They are taking it slow.”
DiCaprio’s relationship with Hadid comes as somewhat of a surprise to fans, considering his notorious history of dating women below the age of 25.
He was dragged by users on social media last month when news broke that he and Morrone had parted ways just one month after the model hit the quarter-century mark.
Morrone, who began dating DiCaprio in 2017 when she was just 20 years old, defended their 23-year age difference in the past.
“There’s so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date,” she told the Los Angeles Times in 2019.
Other famous women DiCaprio has dated over the years include Kate Moss, Helena Christensen, Naomi Campbell, Bar Refaeli, Nina Agdal and Gisele Bündchen, the latter of whom he dated for six years until 2005.
Meanwhile, Hadid dated Zayn Malik for nearly seven years but they broke up in October 2021 after he allegedly struck her mom, Yolanda Hadid. They share a 2-year-old daughter, Khai.
