Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen to file for divorce today
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen plan to file for divorce Friday, Page Six can confirm.
The couple have reached a settlement to end their 13-year marriage and expect to formally file the paperwork in Florida, sources told TMZ.
Insiders also said lawyers for the NFL quarterback and the model have been working with a mediator to figure out their custody agreement and property settlement.
Brady, 45, and Bündchen, 42, share son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9. The athlete also has a 15-year-old son, Jack, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
The divorce document will be short, and the terms of the settlement will remain confidential and sealed, according to TMZ.
Page Six exclusively reported earlier this month that both Brady and Bündchen had hired divorce attorneys.
The pair, who have been living separately for months, hit a rocky patch when they had an epic fight over Brady’s refusal to retire from his football career.
Multiple sources also claimed that there was very little probability the duo would reconcile.
“[Gisele] is done with their marriage,” an insider told People earlier this month. “She was upset about it for a long time, and it’s still difficult, but she feels like she needs to move on. She doesn’t believe that her marriage can be repaired.”
Bündchen seemingly shaded Brady a few weeks ago by commenting on an Instagram post about “inconsistent” partners. Days later, Brady further fueled breakup rumors when he attended Robert Kraft’s surprise wedding without Bündchen.
Just last week, sources told Page Six that things were getting “nasty” between the duo.

“Things are very nasty between Tom and Gisele because of the lawyers. They are ready for a fight,” the source shared.
And on Thursday, sources revealed that Bündchen reportedly gave Brady an ultimatum.
“Gisele told Tom either he leaves football to spend time with the family or she is gone for good,” a source told Us Weekly. “She doesn’t want him to continue to get injured and not be able to enjoy life in the future. She is doing it for her family.”
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel has been open about her marriage woes and even admitted in an interview with Elle in September that she and her kids would like the Super Bowl champ to be “more present.”
