Elvis Presley’s ex Linda Thompson unearths throwback photos of late Lisa Marie
Elvis Presley’s ex-girlfriend Linda Thompson dug up old photos of the late Lisa Marie Presley while reflecting on their “wonderful relationship.”
“She’s still a part of my heart,” the socialite wrote in a lengthy tribute on Instagram Wednesday along with several photos from the late singer’s childhood.
Thompson, who dated Elvis from 1972 to 1976, was doing spring cleaning when she discovered an old photo album with Polaroids of a young Lisa Marie.
“Time stood still for a few moments as I looked through these precious photos,” the actress, 72, wrote. “Little ‘Yisa Marisa’ as I remember her so lovingly.”
Thompson explained that Lisa Marie was just six years old and missing her two front teeth in the throwback photos.
“She wanted me to take some pictures of her in my dressing area at the Monovale house,” the former pageant queen recalled.
Thompson then went on to gush over the similarities between Lisa Marie and the “So Lovely” singer’s eldest daughter, Riley Keough, who stars on Amazon Prime’s “Daisy Jones & The Six.”
“I don’t know how many of you are watching — or have binge-watched like I did…but if you haven’t you must! It is fantastic!!” Thompson said. “There are so many nuances in Riley’s facial expressions that remind me of her beautiful mom.”
She added, “Lisa‘s lovely, formidable, powerful presence lives on in her gorgeous and talented daughter.💜👏🙏🏻🌹.”
Lisa Marie shared her daughter Riley, 33, and her late son Benjamin — who died by suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27 — with ex-husband Danny Keough.
She also shared 14-year-old twins Finley and Harper with another ex-husband Michael Lockwood. Aside from Danny and Lockwood, Lisa Marie was also once married to Nicholas Cage from 2002 to 2004 and Michael Jackson from 1994 to 1996.

Thompson’s walk down memory lane comes nearly three months after Lisa Marie’s sudden death on Jan. 12.
The “Lights Out” artist died at 54 after going into cardiac arrest. Page Six previously reported that Lisa Marie coded multiple times before being placed in a medically induced coma and subsequently passing away.
She was buried at Graceland — the same resting place as her son and father.
Thompson was “absolutely devastated and shocked” by Lisa Marie’s death and spoke out a day after she died to honor her memory.
“Lisa Marie was so much like her daddy it was uncanny,” Thompson told People at the time.
“[Lisa Marie] had his deep, soulful eyes, his pouty lip and his raucous, irreverent sense of humor. She was a beautiful contradiction like Elvis … complicated in her simplicity.”
She also recalled being the first person Lisa Marie called after Elvis died in 1977 when the “Hound Dog” singer was 42 and his daughter was just 9 years old.
“I will always be profoundly grateful to the little 9-year-old Lisa Marie, who had the presence of mind to call me from Graceland the fateful day her daddy died to give me the news,” Thompson said. “I was the first person she called. To me, that spoke volumes of how close we were, and how sure she was of my love for her daddy.”
Elvis started dating Thompson shortly after the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll separated from Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley. They only dated for four years before calling things off, but Thompson remained close with Lisa Marie.
Thompson then went on to marry Caitlyn Jenner in 1981, but they divorced in 1986. She and the Olympian share two sons: Brandon and Brody. Thompson was also married to David Foster from 1991 to 2005.
