Tori Spelling seeks ‘comfort’ in fast food after Dean McDermott’s bombshell interview

Tori Spelling has turned to the return of McDonald’s beloved McRib for “comfort” following estranged husband Dean McDermott’s explosive interview.

“The comfort of an old friend returns just when you need them the most,” the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum wrote on her Instagram Story Wednesday atop an image of the fast food sandwich’s packaging.

Spelling’s cryptic message comes the same day the Daily Mail published a tell-all interview with McDermott in which the “Tori & Dean” alum spilled intimate details on how his and Spelling’s marriage fell apart.

“All Tori’s ever done to this day is want me to be happy and healthy and I inflicted a lot of damage and pain on that woman,” McDermott — who is currently in a Woodland Hills, Calif., sober living facility following rehab — told the outlet.

While speaking about the final days of his drug and alcohol use before seeking treatment, McDermott said that he found himself “drinking a fifth of tequila every night” along with “a handful of narcos [prescription medication]” as his “beautiful family” was in “the other room.”

“That’s what it led to and that’s what led to the brokenness and to what happened between me and Tori. I couldn’t do it anymore. I couldn’t live that life anymore. I was tired of the anger and the yelling,” McDermott recalled, adding that he and Spelling had been sleeping in separate bedrooms since 2017.

The “Due South” star — who shares Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 6, with Spelling — admitted that he hasn’t seen his children since early June when Spelling moved out of their home.

Around the same time, McDermott posted — and later deleted — an emotional divorce announcement while on a bender.

The 56-year-old Canadian actor revealed that the announcement led to Spelling helping McDermott find a rehab center to get treatment for his drug and alcohol use.

Despite Spelling’s help and McDermott’s remorse, both parties have begun seeing other people — even though neither have filed for divorce.

McDermott has been seeing Lily Calo for a few months and Spelling, 50, was recently spotted locking lips with advertising CEO Ryan Cramer.

As for McDermott’s drunken episodes, the actor told the outlet that he hopes to make things right by staying on the straight and narrow.

“It’s going to be living the rest of my life making amends because I took something that was really beautiful and I just tore it down year after year, day after day.”

In regards to the “pain” and “damage” he inflicted on Spelling, McDermott said, “I’m taking accountability for that today. And it’s the biggest amend that I’m ever going to have to make.”
