Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright resume filming ‘The Valley’ amid separation

Cameras are rolling in the valley.

As Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright navigate their public separation, Bravo cameras have resumed filming for their upcoming “Vanderpump Rules” spinoff, “The Valley,” Page Six can confirm. Entertainment Tonight first reported the news.

It’s unclear if cameras are filming solely to cover their split, but it would not be the first time Bravo went back into action to document drama.

Notably, a camera crew resumed filming in March 2023 when Tom Sandoval was caught cheating on Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss, who now goes by her birth name, Rachel.

Most recently, fans watched Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky separate — but cohabitate — on Season 13 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

Cartwright, 35, announced her split from Taylor, 44, last week on their podcast, “When Reality Hits With Jax and Brittany.”

“Yes, marriages in general are very hard and I’ve had a particularly rough year this past year,” she reflected.

“Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health.”

She added, “I won’t get into too many details right now, because this is still very hard to talk about and I’m taking things one day at a time.”

And although Taylor told Page Six they were living under the same roof after a brief separation, it became clear their relationship was still in need of some TLC when the mother of one moved into a new rental property last Friday.

Plus, Cartwright didn’t sugarcoat anything when speaking to TMZ Saturday and accused her husband of nearly five years of “not really trying” to fight for their marriage.

“Whenever you fight with somebody for so long, there’s only so much you can take, and you know, I deserve better, [our 2-year-old son] Cruz deserves better,” she explained.

Days later, she removed his last name from her Instagram page.

The reality stars began dating in 2015 and their ups and downs were shown throughout their time on “Vanderpump Rules,” which they departed in 2020.

They walked down the aisle in June 2019 and welcomed their son in April 2021.

“The Valley” is set to premiere March 19. It will also star “VPR” alum Kristen Doute, her boyfriend, Luke Broderick, and several other couples.
