Kris Jenner undergoes hysterectomy after doctors discover ‘growing’ tumor: ‘I feel great’
Kris Jenner is on the mend.
The momager underwent a hysterectomy after doctors discovered she had a “growing” tumor.
In a teaser for the July 18 episode of “The Kardashians,” Jenner, 68, is seen recovering at home as her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, daughter Khloé Kardashian and Scott Disick visit her.
“I’m done with my surgery,” she tells Disick, 41, while lying on a tan couch in red silk pajamas. “And I feel great!”
Fans first found out about the mom of six’s health issues in the Season 5 trailer for the Hulu reality show.
In the clip, released in May, Jenner was shown sharing the news with daughters Kardashian, 40, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
“I had my scan,” she told her girls while holding back tears. “They found a cyst and, like, a little tumor.”
Then, in the July 11 episode of the series, Kris confided in friends Kathy Hilton and Faye Resnick that she would be undergoing surgery.
“I’m gonna have a hysterectomy,” she said. “It started out as just getting some ovaries removed, and then today I got a phone call.”

The businesswoman explained that her doctor advised her that removing her ovaries and uterus would be “the best thing” for her health.
“They found something; we’re here to fix it. I’m going to remove something that gave me six of the best parts of my whole life,” she said, referring to her five daughters and one son.
Kris shared in the confessional that she was “very sad” that this chapter of her life was coming to an end.
“I’m very emotional about it because when you’re young, you start talking about wanting a family,” she explained.
“It was all we talked about literally for 40, 50 years. So, here we are now talking about it again, and it’s the other side of the process.”
New episodes of “The Kardashians” air Thursdays on Hulu.
