Keeping up with Kylie Jenner’s baby names.
Although the reality star officially changed her and Travis Scott’s son’s name to Aire after initially announcing it was Wolf, there was a third name in the mix “for a long time.”
The makeup mogul, 27, confessed to British Vogue in her September cover story, published Tuesday, that she referred to her baby boy as Knight.
“My daughter, [Stormi], still to this day, is like, ‘Do you remember when Aire’s name was Knight?’” the “Kardashians” star said.
When the 6-year-old insists that she likes that name “better” for her brother, Jenner jokes, “You know what, we are not doing this again.”
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum recalled feeling “like such a failure” while struggling to name Aire following his February 2022 birth.
She used the name Wolf in her Instagram announcement at the time, only to walk it back.
“FYI OUR SONS NAME ISN’T WOLF ANYMORE,” the Kylie Cosmetics creator clarified in March 2022. “WE JUST DIDN’T REALLY FEEL LIKE IT WAS HIM.”
Jenner was experiencing “major baby blues,” telling the magazine she got “emotional over things that [she] probably wouldn’t be that emotional about” typically.
“When I met him, he was just the most beautiful thing to me and I couldn’t believe just how perfect he was,” she explained. “He deserved so much more than that. It just really triggered me.”
The businesswoman documented her indecision on Season 1 of her family’s show, saying she was “waiting and simmering” on a new option.
She and Scott, 33, filed to legally change their child’s name to Aire in March 2023.
By that time, Jenner and the rapper had called it quits after five years of dating on and off.
She broke down their co-parenting situation on Tuesday, saying the little ones stay with Scott when she’s traveling or with Khloé Kardashian when both parents are out of town.
The Khy designer keeps her new romance with Timothée Chalamet on the down low — despite fans convinced they spotted him in the background of an Instagram selfie — and she gushed that the privacy “feels so good.”
