Trina McGee revealed that she suffered a miscarriage.
On Monday, the “Boy Meets World” actress opened up about the heartbreaking loss during an appearance on the “Tamron Hall Show.”
“I did lose the baby. It wasn’t expected, it was closer to the end of the first trimester. We don’t have any real reasons why,” she told host Tamron Hall while holding back tears.

“I was still so grateful to have the experience of being able to conceive at this age and this time.”
McGee, who is married to Marcello Thedford, said she has been dealing with “a lot of depression” and that it’s been “hard to get out of bed” since the loss of her fourth child.
“There are so many things that come when you really want a family and you want your family to be complete,” she explained. “There are so many dreams that you have. It was hard to face the fact that that’s not going to happen at this point in the junction.”
The “Girl Meets World” alum said she isn’t sure if she wants to try to get pregnant again.
“Part of me doesn’t ever want to go through this again,” she stated. “The conclusion I came to is, we’ll just keep loving each other, if something happens that way, fine, but I don’t want to put another anxiety on myself. Sometimes it really is better to let go and let God.”
In June, McGee shocked fans when she announced she was pregnant with her fourth child.
“At the tender age of 54 I have found myself pregnant. Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery,” she wrote on Instagram at the time, adding that she was going to “sign off social media for a bit.”
Several fans congratulated McGee and her husband, while others were taken aback due to her age.
A few days later, McGee got candid about how she conceived one year into menopause.
The “Friday After Next” actress and Thedford worked with the Garifuna people in Belize to reverse the decline of reproductive hormones by taking medicinal herbs recommended by shamans.
McGee is also mom to adult kids: Ramia, 31, Langston, 29, and Exra, 25, whom she shares with ex-husband Courtland Davis.
