Usher claims his X account was hacked amid Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sex trafficking arrest
Usher claims his X account got hacked over the weekend after his former mentor, Sean “Diddy” Combs, was arrested and charged with sex trafficking.
“Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it! 😂😂😂” the “Yeah!” singer wrote on the platform Sunday, ahead of his show in Inglewood, Calif. “See you tonight at Intuit Dome✌🏽👀✌🏽.”
Usher, 45, shared the message after fans noticed that past tweets from his account had mysteriously disappeared over the weekend.
The only tweets on his page appeared to be from hackers writing about cryptocurrency scams.
It’s unclear who allegedly hacked Usher’s account. However, a number of other celebrities – like Pink and Megan Fox – were also seemingly hacked on X over the weekend.
Shortly after Usher (real name: Usher Raymond IV) wrote about his alleged hacking experience, fans responded with varying opinions.

“What?? Lol, timing is JUST a coincidence huh?” someone replied.
“Someone hacked you and deleted old tweets? Thats a new one 🤣 🤣 🤣,” another user wrote.
“ain’t NOBODY believing this,” someone else claimed.
“He isn’t lying about this btw lol,” one person defended.
Many fans brought up the timing of it all, as Usher has been making headlines amid Combs’ recent arrest for sex trafficking and racketeering.
The “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” singer and the record producer have been close friends for nearly three decades, ever since Usher began living and working with him as a teenager.
Usher has not been legally connected with any of Combs’ alleged crimes. However, he has alluded to seeing “some things” while partying with the rapper in several interviews that have resurfaced amid Combs’ legal woes.
“I got a chance to see some things. I went there to see the lifestyle, and I saw it. I don’t know if I could indulge and understand what I was even looking at,” he told “The Howard Stern Show” in 2016.
Usher has yet to directly address his mentor’s latest arrest.
Combs, 54, was arrested in a New York City hotel last week and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He pleaded not guilty to all three charges. His request for bail was denied and he is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY.
The “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper first found himself in trouble when his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura accused him of rape and abuse in a bombshell lawsuit last November.
The exes quickly settled the suit, but Combs continued denying the allegations. However, he later confessed to “inexcusable” behavior in May after a 2016 video of him physically abusing Ventura in a hotel surfaced.
