Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay to make cameos on ‘The Valley’ after being axed from ‘Vanderpump Rules’

Out with the old, in with the new.

Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent and Scheana Shay will reportedly make appearances on “The Valley” after “Vanderpump Rules” scrapped its entire cast.

Filming for Season 2 of the spinoff wrapped in September and included cameos by Schwartz, Kent and Shay, Deadline reported Tuesday. However, it is unclear how often the trio will be featured.

“The Valley” premiered in March and starred “Pump Rules” alums Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright along with a new group of friends, including Doute’s fiancé, Luke Broderick, Danny and Nia Booko, Jesse and Michelle Lally, Jason and Janet Caperna, Jasmine Good and Zack Wickham.

The cast all returned for the second season and filmed over the summer to capture moments such as Doute’s engagement, Taylor seeking treatment for his mental health and his and Cartwright’s messy divorce.

During the first season, both Kent, 34, and Shay, 39, made brief appearances at the beginning since they remain close friends with the group.

Shay previously teased that fans would see her in the new season while saying she is “very close” with the cast during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” in October.

“I mean, you saw me around with them a lot this summer, so,” she teased when asked about a potential appearance.

Meanwhile, Kent appeared on “WWHL” last week and gave a status update with her “Valley” friends, confirming she does “not speak” with Doute but is close with Cartwright.

“Love Brittany, and we’re thick,” she said. “We’re all good.”

However, Kent is not as close with Taylor and admitted she had to “block him” on social media, though she runs into him at the school where both of their kids go.

Taylor, 45, previously expressed his disinterest in having more of his former “VPR” friends switch over to their show.

“I personally don’t think we need to bring anyone from ‘Vanderpump Rules’ over,” he said in a May episode of the “When Reality Hits” podcast. “I’m not trying to make this ‘Vanderpump Rules.’ As of right now, that is a no. It is a hard no. But who knows, it could change. If we have parties, absolutely.”

Taylor explained that he wanted the spinoff to be more than just an “extension” of his former show, so it would not be “fair” to the current cast.

Shay clapped back at Taylor later that month, quipping on her “Scheananigans” podcast, “You are afraid of me and Lala being on the show because we’re gonna call you out for the s—t we actually know.”

Shay, Kent and Schwartz have yet to confirm their involvement in “The Valley,” but they all took to Instagram to address the news that Season 12 of “Vanderpump Rules” will feature a “new group of close-knit SUR-vers.”

“I have such mixed feelings right now,” Kent wrote on Tuesday. “It’s no secret I do not like change. This is the exception. I want to say thank you for rocking with us for so many years. This show changed my whole life. I’m unbelievably grateful for every moment.”

Shay added in her own post, “We had one hell of a run! I never could have imagined while shooting the pilot for VPR that it would become what it has, nor go on for as long as it did.”

Ariana Madix also shared an emotional statement. Instagram

Meanwhile, Schwartz posted a fan edited video of famous scenes from the series set to the “Friends” theme song.

Former stars Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, James Kennedy and Tom Sandoval also shared heartfelt posts.

The revamped series will begin production next year, but Bravo has yet to release a premiere date or the new cast members.
