David and Victoria Beckham enjoyed an intimate date night at Chef Daniel Humm’s world-renowned Eleven Madison Park in New York City.
David, 49, and the former Spice Girls member, 50, were seen enjoying the three-Michelin-starred vegan eatery’s 10-course tasting menu, which costs $365 per person, in several photos posted to his Instagram on Tuesday
“More about date night,” Beckham captioned a selfie with his wife while seated in the main dining room of the fine dining establishment.
“WOW,” he continued, adding that the meal was “full vegan and spectacular with obviously great wine and even better company 🩷.”
The restaurant offers three tasting menu options: nine to ten courses served in the main dining room for $365 per guest, five courses for $285 a head in the main dining room, and a bar tasting menu of four to five courses served in the lounge for $224 a person.
The retired athlete shared several photos and videos of each dish being served tableside, providing evidence that he and his wife went for the full 10-course option.
“Never been blown away by a meal like this before,” David captioned a photo of his first course — rice with onion garnished with Thai basil leaves.
His second course consisted of a dish made entirely of carefully plated marinated leek salad.
“Who knew leeks could taste so so spectacular,” David captioned the snap of the delicate vegetable.
The couple then dug into a freshly baked loaf of fluffy bread with vegan pumpkin butter shaped into a squash.
“Bread like no other bread & dairy free butter,” he captioned the photo.
From there, they enjoyed a creamy avocado half filled with a fava bean puree and salad topped with tonburi and a mint sauce.
“Just WOW,” David said of the avocado delight.
The soccer star was equally impressed by the multilayered silken tofu dish which combines black onion, leeks, pine nuts and a roasted onion broth broken with curry oil.
“Hidden beneath this is tofu,” he said of the intricately layered dish, along with a white heart emoji.
David joked that he was already starting to get full when he was served the mushroom course featuring a variety of fungi prepared six distinct ways: fried, grilled, puréed, pickled, poached and powdered.
”Dad Jokes. Not Mushroom left but I fitted this one in,” the punster wrote.
David then recorded a video of his server preparing steamed bok choy in a special ceramic pot to be served with white truffle before posting his last main course: slides squash in a flavorful broth.
“And to end with squash 🧡 Ridiculously good,” he wrote.
For the dessert portion of the evening, David and the fashion designer enjoyed honey with apple shaved ice and grape mochi wrapped in a candied grape leaf with spiced concord pâte de fruit and mulled wine jam served alongside an assortment of freshly picked grapes.
David expressed his gratitude to the head chef by posting a picture with Humm.
“Thank you Chef. No words can describe this experience so thank you Daniel,” he wrote, adding, “Pure genius @elevenmadisonpark Thank you to your incredible team.”
Following their lavish date night, Page Six exclusively reported that David and Victoria — who tied the knot in 1999 — crashed a private holiday party at the restaurant’s exclusive Clemente Bar.
