Wishing to teach her a lesson, Mr. Brown writes a letter to his actor friend to enter his house as a burglar to scare her. But on second thought, Brown decides to play burglar himself. Wifey, however, finds the letter and sends it, and so when a real burglar appears upon the scene, she thinks him her hubby's friend and treats him royally. The actor enters almost simultaneous with Brown, and, each thinking the other the real article, a fight ensues. Meanwhile, the real burglar, hearing the skirmish, hides in a clothes closet until he is forced out by moth powder. The episode ends happily for everybody but the real burglar.
