Bank advisor Benjamin Murjahn's rowing boat was driven onto the bank in the morning after a collision with another boat. His wife Tina freezes when Nele and Paul bring her the news of her husband's disappearance. But Julia and Jakob's research suddenly reveals another possibility: Murjahn was involved in dubious investment deals, had legal proceedings on his hands and could have made off - together with his wife, who suddenly disappeared too. After all, disappointed pensioners who lost their savings would have wanted revenge... A few dramatic incidents later, the WaPo crew suspects where to look. And then it is Jakob's Frings and the experience of Paul and Nele who see through the confusion and the case appears to be solved. Too soon to celebrate. In the exciting showdown on Lake Constance, Nele makes a lonely decision that turns everything upside down and almost offends Paul a little.
