The hero attires himself as an ...See morePolidor receives a letter from the film company for whom he acts, instructing him to go to some of the apache resorts in order to obtain some "local color" for a film in which they desire him to appear. The hero attires himself as an apache and ventures into a subterranean haunt of the criminal classes. Here he becomes involved in a quarrel with one of the company, and a bully comes to his rescue, and gets him out of the place in safety. In return for his assistance, he tells Polidor that he must assist him in a burglary which he has planned. Polidor cannot draw back, and to his astonishment finds himself breaking into his own house. Here he is compelled to load all his possessions into a sack and, descending from the window with his companions, finds himself captured by the police-for burgling his own house. Luckily, his man-servant identifies him and secures his release, but Polidor decides that he will give apache resorts a wide berth in future. Written by
