While his family waits for him at home so they can mourn together, he looks through his father's belongings, old slides, photographs, suits, his watch. When he spots his father's car keys, he decides to take the big, old, mint Cadillac for one last ride. He inserts a random cassette into the tape deck, and drives away. When he pulls up at a red light with music blaring, a young family in the car next to him break out into laughter before driving away.
