Bill, a boisterous Texan; Dave, a former solider; and Andrew, a stressed workaholic, learn what it's like to truly live off the land, as they build a shelter from pine needles, choke down barely edible reindeer moss, build a quail trap from sticks alone and start a fire using the hardest method known to man: the arm-shredding hand-drill. When their traps finally land a live quail, Dave gets his hands dirty to put food on the table for the group.
