If you can dream it, you can live it. Tucked away in a sleepy Carolina town, the 'Box', as it is called, requires a guide-a service performed by our narrator and main character Sebastian. In 'Lost Art', Sebastian reluctantly agrees to take Vladimir (an intense Russian artist) into the Box to win back the love of his estranged and mentally disturbed girlfriend Alison. Things go bad in a hurry. Upon arriving at Pandora, Alison runs off, then her new man shows up and confronts Vladimir. An innocent tourist is slaughtered. And there's the whole skeleton/zombie infestation. Can Sebastian keep Vladimir and Alison alive, or will they be broken up on an entirely permanent and fatal basis? 'Lost Art', a romance/horror mash up, explores our need for fantasy, for passion, and the competing schools of thought-do what is safe and good or dare to reach for what we most desire? Written by
