Theo Renner faked a medical report to make Kai believe his son Karim is terminally ill, but lost control. Katharina tips off her other kids' father, undercover agent Erik, she's in danger, so he leaves them with the grandparents and ruses to the rescue, but Trebitsch overpowers him too, so unless they can escape the only hope is Dominik and his colleagues catching up, despite Arthur and prosecutor Antonia Bischoff scolding them unprofessional due to personal involvement.
