Rubina Dilaik reveals why she shifted her daughters Jeeva and Edhaa to Himachal Pradesh and not Mumbai; says 'Humein unhein saaf environment dena hai'

Rubina Dilaik became a mother more than a year ago. The actress and her actor spouse, Abhinav Shukla, welcomed twin twins, Jeeva and Edhaa, in November 2023. In a recent podcast, the Bigg Boss 14 winner explained why she chose to raise her children in Himachal Pradesh's rural surroundings rather than Mumbai. Rubina also stated that she and Abhinav were concerned about the atmosphere in which their children would grow up.
Rubina said, "Humein unhein saaf environment dena hai. Woh mitti mein khele, woh ek humble background mein palle badhe. Woh jitna ho sake gaon se jude rahe aur unhe khud ki kheti se ugaya hua khana mile (We have to give them a clean environment. They should play in the soil and grow up in a humble background. They should stay connected to the village as possible and get food grown from our farms)."
Continuing the interview, the Jeannie Aur Juju actress discussed her family's life in Himachal Pradesh. Rubina Dilaik stated that she has been blessed with orchards, farms, and fields and that they opted to relocate Edhaa and Jeeva to Himachal after their basic immunisations were completed. When asked who else lives in Himachal at her farmhouse, she explained that the children live in a joint-family arrangement.
However, the pair has not totally relocated to Himachal Pradesh. They had taken the girls to Mumbai due to heavy snowfall in the actress' village.
