Meet Chuando Tan, the Singaporean photographer who will make you wonder just what the hell you’re doing wrong in life. Because believe it or not, Tan is actually 57 years old. Yes. That’s right. Five seven. And he seems to be getting younger every day.
His friends call him CD, and this Asian model has been catching eyes all over the world since appearing in an article for a Chinese news website. The half-centenarian, who has over 1.4 M followers on Instagram, co-owns photography firm ChuanDo & Frey, but it may come as no surprise to learn that he was one of Singapore’s most popular male models back in the late 80s and early 90s. He even had a short career as a Mandarin pop singer before discovering his passion for photography.
So what’s his secret on how to look younger? Well, apart from superior genetics, he also works out a lot (obviously), and he’s previously commented on how he avoids baths late at night and early in the morning and how he regularly eats Hainan chicken. But something tells us that we would hit the gym eight days a week and eat chicken every day for a lifetime and still not look as incredible as this guy. But that’s OK. Because we’re not jealous. At all.

Meet the youngest-looking old man in the world, Singaporean photographer Chuando Tan, otherwise known as CD
He might have the body of somebody in their twenties, but believe it or not, CD is actually 57 years old!
Yes, that’s right. 57. Five-seven. And he seems to be getting younger every day
He was one of Singapore’s most popular models back in the late 80s and early 90s
He even had a short career as a Mandarin pop singer before discovering his passion for photography
So what’s his secret to looking youthful?
Luck plays little for the youngest-looking old man. But can you really call him old? In the interview with The Straits Times, then-51-year-old Chuando Tan opened up about his daily routine. It all starts with the food. “Six poached eggs,” said Tan. He added, “I try to have my protein intake,” when asked if he eats eggs daily.
He’s previously commented on how he avoids baths late at night and early in the morning
He also works out
A lot
You can already tell, by photos alone, that he works out more than your average Joe. Chuando Tan’s age doesn’t stop him from hitting the weights section. However, a large number of old people who look young often share a lifestyle similar to Tan’s.
He likes to eat lean meat like Hainan chicken
Mingling with celebrities also helps to keep him young. Probably
It’s no surprise that CD has over 1.4M followers on Instagram
Today, Chuando Tan continues to live the same lifestyle he did ten years ago: working out and looking as healthy as ever. He did expand his social presence outside of social media, too. Moreover, he founded a modeling management agency, AVN Management, and even wrote a book.
Did we mention this guy is 57?!
So, How to Look 25 at 50+?
Wanna look like Chaundo Tan? Take a look at more old people that look young and analyze what they all have in common. Most of them engage in the same healthy activities: exercising, eating healthily, doing what they love, and spending time with young people (including celebrities). Oh, and did we mention fantastic genetics? That too.
Overall, if you find a healthy lifestyle that suits your day-to-day life, you better stick with it. Judging from Chuando Tan’s social media posts, it’s not so hard (or he makes it look like it’s not). So, if you want to take over the title of being the youngest-looking old man in the world—take care of your body and keep it as healthy as possible!

Share on FacebookHe s not the only one. I have the body of a 20 year old as well. But the costs of the freezer are killing me.
Your comment is brilliant! I laughed so hard that.
Load More Replies...I understand that if you regularly work out throughout your life you'll probably be in pretty good shape when you get to 50, but what about the face? He doesn't look a day over 30!
lack of stress and much worries throughout his life
Load More Replies...I think he's privileged to have the time and (maybe) enough money to keep himself look the way he is.
that's exactly what it is, and a more comfortable lifestyle in general
