Anonymous artist Banksy has confirmed that a new mural of a mountain goat on a building in London is his latest work. The mural appeared on the side of a building near Kew Bridge in West London, today (Monday, August 5).
The mysterious artist from Bristol claimed the work as his own in an Instagram post this afternoon. He posted a picture of the wall without a caption.
A black mountain goat is seen precariously balancing on a pillar, with a handful of stones falling. There is a security camera, seemingly used for the building, that has been pointed up towards the painting.

The ambiguous artwork has left fans wondering what message Banksy is trying to make. Fans have taken to the artists Instagram page to speculate what the goat may mean.
One person has said: "The camera is looking at the falling rocks, rather than what's causing them to fall. Goats are adapted to climbing on narrow ledges, so it isn't in danger, but the camera's view doesn't give the full picture. So I'd guess that it's referencing the need to understand that news needs context before forming an opinion."
Another person said: "The goat represents the human race on the precipice, 'of the edge of extinction', the jump is not important better to take a few steps backwards". Someone else added: "The cctv camera surely represents us watching the world crumble around us."
Another fan said: "Is no one else getting scape goat? With everything happening right now…" Seemingly in reference to the riots that have taken place up and down the country by far-right protesters - including in Bristol at the weekend.
