One lucky Bristol pensioner got an unexpected Christmas present this year after scooping the jackpot at Buzz Bingo. She won a life-changing £100,000.
The 80-year-old, who wishes to remain anonymous, called 'HOUSE' on Saturday, December 21, at the Bingo hall in Fishponds, and struck gold. The huge win came just months after celebrating her 80th birthday in the very same club earlier this year.
She had planned to get her carpets cleaned ahead of Christmas, but will now treat herself to a brand new set of carpets, as well as splashing out on her family this festive season.
Chris Perkins, club manager at Buzz Bingo, said: "Unbelievable to have a £100K winner ahead of Christmas. What a wonderful way to ring in the festive season and the new year. I'm overjoyed that our wonderful bingo player is able to celebrate this fantastic win and spoil their family this holiday."
