An two-vehicle collision occurred on the A432 in north Bristol this afternoon (Saturday). At 1.17pm, traffic monitoring site Inrix reported that an accident on Fishponds Road, near Gloucester Street, has resulted in queueing traffic.
Avon and Somerset Police said that officers alongside the ambulance service, attended the scene and recovered the vehicles. The vehicles were recovered shortly before 4pm.
Inrix confirmed that the road has since cleared and that traffic has returned to normal. Inrix said: "Road cleared and traffic easing, accident cleared on A432 Fishponds Road in both directions near Gloucester Street."
The road acts as a key transport route towards Fishponds, Downend and Staple Hill from Eastville and Easton. Police confirmed that two people sustained minor injuries.

Avon and Somerset Police said: "At 1.08pm today we received a report of a two-vehicle collision near the junction of Fishponds Road and Stroud Avenue in the Eastville area of Bristol.
"Officers attended, alongside the ambulance service, and assisted with the recovery of the vehicles involved. This was completed shortly before 4pm. Two people sustained minor injuries."
