Police have cordoned off a road in Bristol city centre following reports of an incident.
The road, Hannover Court, is the pedestrian side road connecting the Horsefair and Cabot Circus with Bond Street, next to the McDonald's in the city centre.
Eye-witnesses have said a large police presence descended on the area at lunchtime today (Tuesday, May 28) with paramedics also in attendance.

Unconfirmed reports say one man was injured, and was treated using one of the emergency bleed kits that have been installed in locations around the city centre. Avon and Somerset Police have been contacted for more details.

Man stabbed in incident
Avon and Somerset police have confirmed the incident was one where a man was stabbed.
"At around 11.30am today (Tuesday 28 May) we received a number of calls from members of the public reporting an altercation between two men on Bond Street, Bristol city centre," a police spokesperson said.
"Officers were on the scene within two minutes of the first call and found a man aged in his 40s with stab wounds. The man was taken to hospital in a critical condition by the ambulance service and is currently receiving treatment.
"A 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing GBH with intent and is currently in police custody."
Police await forensics officers
We understand the police cordon is in place to preserve the scene while forensics officers are on their way.
The incident happened earlier today. We have asked Avon and Somerset police for more information about what happened, and a response is awaited. Unconfirmed reports suggest that there was a stabbing here and one man was injured.
McDonald's exit blocked by police cordon
The police cordon starts at the entrance to Hannover Court and Cabot Circus at the Horsefair, and continues the length of Hannover Court but also includes the area in front of McDonald's on the Bond Street side.
Police and security are blocking customers inside the McDonald's - which is still open for businesses, with access from Horsefair - from entering of leaving through the Bond Street doors.
