Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 16-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in St Philips. The pair, both aged 15, have been taken into police custody tonight (February 15) as part of an ongoing investigation into the death of the boy, who is believed to have been stabbed in Rawnsley Park.
Avon and Somerset Police were called to West Street, St Philips, by the South Western Ambulance Service at around 6pm on Wednesday, February 14, after a 16-year-old boy was found with a stab wound. Despite the efforts of paramedics, and a motorist who helped the boy, he died at the scene.
Police believe the boy was attacked by two people in Rawnsley Park, before he ran to West Street, where he was found. Formal identification has not yet taken place, Avon and Somerset police said, but his family have been informed. Two 15-year-old boys were arrested this evening and remain in police custody where they will be questioned.

Bristol Commander Superintendent Mark Runacres, said: “The team investigating yesterday’s incident are working around the clock to bring those responsible to justice.
“This evening, two 15-year-old boys were arrested in connection with the investigation and they have been taken to police custody where they will be questioned.
“Our collective thoughts are with the victim’s family and loved ones during what is undoubtedly a very difficult time. Specialist family liaison officers have been assigned to the family to provide them with support and keep them updated on the investigation.”
