An update has been issued on the whereabouts of a girl who was reported missing in Bristol. Officers from Avon and Somerset Police previously issued an urgent public appeal to find 14-year-old Jade.

Police said she was reported missing at around 8am on Friday, December 13, and concern was growing for her welfare. She had last been seen wearing pink pyjamas and a lilac hoodie.

The force confirmed this morning (Monday, December 16) that she has been found safe and well. They thanked the public for sharing their appeal and helping to find her.

Avon and Somerset Police said in an update today: "On Saturday we issued an appeal for help finding 14-year-old Jade who has links to Lawrence Weston and Broadmead in Bristol.

"She was found safe and well later that day. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal or called us with information."
