Hannah accepted the award of Eurovision 2023’s behalf, when the competition was hosted in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine. The actress was joined by Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina, who co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023.

While accepting the award, Hannah said: “Thank you so much to BAFTA. Honestly the week we had, this time last year, 2023 Eurovision was, I know for everybody here the most exceptional, stressful week but so fabulous.

“And I would just like to pull out these guys here who were just incredible, taking up, particularly myself and Julia Sanina, who’s here too. They were so fabulous, we didn’t really have a clue what we were doing, but they were incredible anyway.

“And to the Great British public who just made it the most extraordinary setting of evenings, thank you so, so much. This is epic, thank you.”
