The people of Coventry are paying tribute to a "big-hearted" member of the community after a sudden death. Amrit Ghuman, who was in charge of the Poseidon Fish Bar in Cheylesmore, died aged 47 on the 22nd of November.
He leaves behind a wife and two children, who say they are "devastated" at his "unexpected" death. Wife Narinder remembered her beloved husband for being a 'humble, generous man.' She is raising funds in his memory for the Midland Langar Seva Society.
Ms Ghuman said on JustGiving: “He was a humble, generous man, and he always gave back to the community. In loving memory of Amrit, we kindly request donations to Langar Aid.”

The fundraiser set up in Amrit's memory has more than tripled its original goal of raising £500. The Midland Langar Seva Society provides support for the homeless and those in hardship, inspired by the Sikh principle of "Langar" which refers to a community kitchen that serves free meals to anyone, regardless of their social status, race, religion, or background.
