A popular Ayrshire hotel and restaurant has closed ahead of “complete makeover”.
The Brig o’ Doon House Hotel in Alloway is closed “temporarily” from yesterday (Thursday, January 2) as the venue’s restaurant is refurbished.
Purchased by the RAD Group from Costley & Costley in 2022, the Brig o’ Doon has undergone a number of changes as the new owners invest in the hotel, restaurant and wedding venue.
It is understood that the refurbishment will take around two months to complete but a reopening date has yet to be announced.
Updating customers on the latest developments, RAD Group posted on the Brig o’ Doon House Hotel’s Facebook page.
They said: “Big news from Brig o' Doon House Hotel.
“We’re thrilled to announce that our beloved restaurant is getting a complete makeover.
