Popeyes Louisiana Chicken is coming to East Kilbride.
The popular chicken fast food chain is set to take over the former Frankie and Benny's restaurant at Lee Burn Court, Nerston, next to McDonald's and Dominoes.
The restaurant will bring flavours of Louisiana to Lanarkshire, with its signature 12-hour marinated chicken and original Southern biscuits and gravy.
An opening date has not been confirmed but contractors are currently on site to start renovations - which reportedly include a drive-thru.
