P Diddy's lawyers slam 'tell-all documentary' starring 'inner circle' members

P Diddy's lawyers have addressed the upcoming documentary about his life titled Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy after the project's trailer was recently released

P Diddy has addressed an upcoming documentary about his life.

The Peacock project, titled Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, is claimed to be a tell-all documentary set to release on 14 January. Some of Diddy's alleged associates, including a childhood friend, a former bodyguard and a winner of Making the Band, were featured in the show.

Diddy's lawyers have spoken against the project and said that "these documentaries include unchecked claims and provide platforms for baseless conspiracy theories without accountability or evidence."

They also said: "In the case of the Peacock documentary in particular, the motivations and credibility of those being interviewed must be questioned. Many claim to have knowledge but lack any connection to the truth, while their wild, unfounded theories are cut and sensationalized to appear factual."

P Diddy, real name Sean Combs, was arrested on 16 September and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied all the charges made against him and his trial date is set for 5 May.

His lawyer said that Combs "unequivocally denies these false allegations, which are harmful, defamatory, and unsupported by credible evidence."

"It is deeply concerning how such narratives can influence public perception and prejudice the legal process. Mr. Combs deserves his day in court with an impartial jury, free from the taint of these baseless claims. The facts will be addressed in court, where truth—not fiction—will prevail."

In the trailer for the Peacock documentary, a man claims to have "known Sean since he was four-years-old" and branded the rapper "his little bro[ther]." One woman stated that she attended a number of "Puffy parties" and branded them events that partygoers needed "exclusive access to get in to".

Another woman told the camera: "Honestly, I didn't want to be around him unless there was cameras." Text over the trailer claims that the documentary would "reveal his darkest moments".

One unknown male voice also alleged: "Anytime a studio or any rooms is red, he's making love and sex. Some of the girls who were in the room, for sure they were underage."
