Lib Dem leader challenges Keir Starmer to EA FC and will dance on TikTok until he accepts
Lib Dem leader Ed Davey has challenged Prime Minister Keir Starmer to a game of 'FIFA', and is planning to post a fresh TikTok dance video each day until he agrees
Lib Dem leader Ed Davey has challenged Prime Minister Keir Starmer to a game of FIFA (technically called EA FC ) and says he will dance every day until he accepts.
If that's a sentence you weren't expecting to read today, you're not the only one, but Davey's cunning plan to get the Prime Minister onside is seemingly to wear him down with daily TikTok dances and take him on in charity game of video game football.
We're currently two days in and we've had no response from the PM yet, but it's still early days.

Davey vs Starmer... at FIFA
I'll be honest, the first two days aren't the most impressive TikTok dances we've ever seen, but it's got people talking.
Some TikTok users have suggested Davey "would cook" his opponent, while another says he should challenge Nigel Farage instead.
Referring to the song choice, one commenter noted "We got Ed Davey x big justice before GTA 6". The chosen song by Davey is from the Costco Guys, father and son due AJ and Big Justice, who went viral for bringing the BOOM, as well as double chunk chocolate cookies (if you know, you know). They also just appeared in a match on AEW over the weekend with AJ victorious.
Meanwhile back to hard hitting UK politics, Davey has previously pledged allegiance to Liverpool FC, which Starmer is a big Arsenal fan, so a matchup between the two could be a table-topping clash - as long as they remember it's not called FIFA these days.
Daily Star has reached out to the Lib Dem party for comment - and to find out what Davey's Ultimate Team looks like. We also wonder if he wants to take on the Daily Star?
