Rebekah Vardy launches fresh Coleen Rooney jab as she demands ITV star faces trial
Rebekah Vardy, 42, has launched a fresh attack on her alleged arch-rival Coleen Rooney, 38, as the two WAGs go head-to-head on ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
Rebekah Vardy has thrown yet more shade at alleged arch-rival Coleen Rooney, while she continues to struggle through the trials and tribulations of life in the 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' jungle.
Rebekah, married to Leicester footballer Jamie Vardy, hasn’t shied away from expressing her views on Coleen, who is participating in the ITV programme following in her footsteps. Coleen previously pointed the finger at Rebekah for allegedly leaking private stories about her, which led to Coleen earning the moniker "Wagatha Christie" after a notorious social media reveal.
Vardy has consistently denied these claims. During their High Court libel case, it was suggested that Rebekah's former agent, Caroline Watt, might have been the person leaking the stories as she had access to her Instagram account.

Rebekah took part in I’m A Celebrity back in 2017 and later initiated a high-stakes libel lawsuit but in July 2022, the High Court ruled that Rooney’s accusation was "substantially true".
In a recent ruling, the court ordered that Rebekah is liable for an additional £100,000 in costs, adding to the whopping £1.8 million she’s obliged to pay Coleen already, reports the Mirror.
Ever since this year’s iteration of I'm A Celebrity commenced last Sunday, Rebekah has been actively sharing her opinions. She has criticised the contestants as "dull and wet" and even disclosed her wish to see Coleen face "humble pie" as well as some of the grim eating challenges.
Replying to The Sun regarding her pick for the next trial, Rebekah cheekily responded: "Sorry it's going to have to be Coleen!"
She also criticised BBC Radio 1 presenter Dean McCullough for his desperate plea for McFly tickets from fellow campmate Danny Jones, and predicted that the friendly atmosphere in the camp won't last much longer. Rebekah didn't hold back when she labelled radio host Melvin Odoom a "bore" after he revealed his crush on Carol Vorderman.
"Melvin who? If Carol Vorderman has any sense then she will turning down that offer made of a date from the radio host," she told the publication. When Coleen entered the camp, Rebekah shared a photo of herself relaxing in a pink bikini with her eyes closed.
She captioned the image: "The feeling when you are living rent free in people's heads."
She added a laughing-crying emoji and a winking emoji to her post. After the first episode of the series, Rebekah wrote in her column: "Coleen sank in the river twice. It's the gift that keeps on giving."
Rebekah also had some harsh words for another campmate, accusing Dean McCullough of siding with Coleen.
"Dean, Dean and his cosying up to Coleen. It's so very obvious and, believe me, it is going to get tiresome. He absolutely loves to talk about Wagatha and when he does he knows he's going to get airtime from it," Rebekah vented in The Sun.
Nicola McLean, a friend to both women, believes Rebekah would seize every chance to observe Coleen and take great pleasure in highlighting her shortcomings on the show, delighting in pointing out her mistakes.
She said: "I admire strong women and both of these girls are strong in different ways. Can't wait to see Coleen in the jungle and can't wait to see what Rebekah Vardy has got to say about it."
