Rebekah Vardy launches fresh Coleen Rooney jab as she demands ITV star faces trial

Rebekah Vardy, 42, has launched a fresh attack on her alleged arch-rival Coleen Rooney, 38, as the two WAGs go head-to-head on ITV's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

Rebekah Vardy has thrown yet more shade at alleged arch-rival Coleen Rooney, while she continues to struggle through the trials and tribulations of life in the 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' jungle.

Rebekah, married to Leicester footballer Jamie Vardy, hasn’t shied away from expressing her views on Coleen, who is participating in the ITV programme following in her footsteps. Coleen previously pointed the finger at Rebekah for allegedly leaking private stories about her, which led to Coleen earning the moniker "Wagatha Christie" after a notorious social media reveal.

Vardy has consistently denied these claims. During their High Court libel case, it was suggested that Rebekah's former agent, Caroline Watt, might have been the person leaking the stories as she had access to her Instagram account.

Rebekah took part in I’m A Celebrity back in 2017 and later initiated a high-stakes libel lawsuit but in July 2022, the High Court ruled that Rooney’s accusation was "substantially true".

In a recent ruling, the court ordered that Rebekah is liable for an additional £100,000 in costs, adding to the whopping £1.8 million she’s obliged to pay Coleen already, reports the Mirror.

Ever since this year’s iteration of I'm A Celebrity commenced last Sunday, Rebekah has been actively sharing her opinions. She has criticised the contestants as "dull and wet" and even disclosed her wish to see Coleen face "humble pie" as well as some of the grim eating challenges.

Replying to The Sun regarding her pick for the next trial, Rebekah cheekily responded: "Sorry it's going to have to be Coleen!"
