A man has been arrested after a 17-year-old was rushed to hospital following an alleged stab attack.
The teen was treated for a 'stab wound' after reports of an incident at an address on Fonteyn Court in the Hemlington area of Middlesbrough. The alleged incident took place at at around 7.10pm on Monday, January 6.
Cleveland Police confirmed officers received a call from ambulance service colleagues and the boy was treated at James Cook University hospital, in Middlesbrough, for a non-life threatening injury.
They said the teen has now been released from hospital and a man has been arrested, a spokesperson confirmed: "A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and he remains in police custody at this time. Enquiries are continuing."
