Two men have been arrested after a suspected stolen scooter was spotted and then recovered from an address in Middlesbrough.
Officers from Cleveland Police attended the address on on Alnwick Court, Grove Hill, where a second mini moto was also recovered. A search led to the recovery of an extendable baton and a large amount of suspected cocaine and heroin.
Two men aged 39 and 54 were arrested on suspicion of theft. A 39-year-old man was additionally arrested and later charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
The man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court today (Monday, December 30). A 54-year-old man remains on police bail.
