A Surrey was transformed into a winter wonderland this week, with homes waking up to a white blanket of snow on the ground. Not everywhere in the county shared the same delight, as unfortunately it wasn't real snow.

Near a wealthy private estate, film crews set up a magical scene with white carpets covering grass verges, fake snowmen and frosting over branches of trees. Apple TV has been filming the second movie to follow up The Family Plan, starring Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan.

Actor Mark has been spotted in Surrey, filming for the exciting new installment, and even took to Instagram to show off the set.

Located in Hersham, near Walton-on-Thames, Burwood Park is a posh private estate around six miles long. It's believed to be King Henry VIII's former deer park, and spans around 360 acres.

You can expect properties here to cost around £3million. Sprawling mansions boast turning circle fountains, swimming pools and at home gyms. It's the perfect place to transform into a pretty wintery scene. With film studios nearby, it's easy to see why Burwood Park was picked as a filming location.

Mark Wahlberg has been spotted filming in Surrey

Mark took to Instagram to show off the scene, with his clip featuring his co-stars on set. He is seen walking along the street, with his manager holding an umbrella, with shots of Michelle Morgan and Van Crosby.

The movie, follows Mark's character, Dan Morgan, a suburban dad and car salesman navigating family life. However, his past as a secret former top assassin catches up to with him.

It's not the first time Mark, known for his roles in The Departed, Boogie Nights and The Fighter, has been spotted in Surrey, he's previously been seen exploring the county while visiting the UK for filming. It was thought in 2019 that he was filming at Farnborough Airport.
