The best and worst areas of Guildford for antisocial behaviour in 2019

SurreyLive has analysed official Surrey Police data for the first eight months of this year

More than 2,200 antisocial behaviour offences were reported to Surrey Police in the Guildford borough in the first eight months of 2019.

The stats, recorded on the Police.uk website, show that in total 2,207 such offences were recorded by Surrey Police across Guildford’s 11 policing neighbourhoods between January 1 and August 31.

Taking into account the borough's current estimated population of 147,889, this means that 14.9 antisocial behaviour offences have been recorded per every 1,000 people.

SurreyLive has analysed the data on the Police.uk website to rank the borough's policing neighbourhoods by the number of antisocial behaviour offences reported.

11. Albury, Shalford, Compton, Holy Trinity, Shere, Gomshall, Peaslake and Farley Green: 118

The area of Guildford with the fewest reported antisocial behaviour offences is Albury, Shalford, Compton, Holy Trinity, Shere, Gomshall, Peaslake and Farley Green.

Its 118 offences mean that just under 15 are being committed per month in the policing neighbourhood.

Within the neighbourhood, which contains a number of villages, the highest number of offences are being committed in the Shalford area
