In Dorking and Horley, the Liberal Democrats have gained from Conservative. Lib Dem Chris Coughlan has been elected, who received 20,921 votes with a share of 41.9%
.This compares to the Conservative candidates Marisa Heath who got 15,530 votes. Meanwhile, Craig Young for Reform got 6,898 votes. Labour's Nadia Burrell got 4.053. And lastly Green Party candidate 2,563.
Dorking and Horley is one of Surrey’s new constituency areas after its boundary was redrawn from the previous Mole Valley area, previously represented by Conservative MP Sir Paul Beresford. The constituency now includes Fetcham, Ewhurst, Capel, Salfords, Brockham, and Betchworth, as well as Dorking and Horley themselves.

The Mole Valley seat was held by Conservative Sir Paul Beresford from 1997 until May 30 2024 when Parliament was dissolved ahead of the 2024 election. Conservative candidate Marisa Heath stood in his place in the newly-drawn boundary for the Dorking and Horley constituency.
Nadia Burrell stood in the area as a Labour Party candidate alongside Chris Coghlan for the Liberal Democrats, Lisa Claire Scott for the Green Party, and Craig Young for Reform.
