An elderly man has died a week after he fell from his mobility scooter. The man in his 80s fell from his mobility scooter as he crossed a road in Camberley on Friday, November 22.
Surrey Police are now appealing for the public's help after he was involved in an incident with a driver at around 11.20am as he crossed Knoll Road close to the junction with Bissingen Way. Officers say after he fell from his scooter he was taken to hospital and discharged on the same day but he died a week later.
A police spokesperson said: "We are investigating the circumstances which led to his death and are now looking to speak to any witnesses who may have seen an interaction between this man and a navy-blue car on Friday, November 22 that led to his fall.
"We are also looking to speak to anyone with CCTV, helmet cam, or dashcam footage that may have captured all or part of this incident."
