People were warned of an increased police presence at a Godalming school on Thursday following a suspicious phone message. Officers were called to Broadwater School in Godalming at around 10:30am on November 28.
They said a "suspicious telephone message regarding the school" had been received. Following a search, "nothing of concern was found".
Waverley Beat of Surrey Police said: "We were called to Broadwater School in Godalming at around 10:30am this morning (28 November), following a suspicious telephone message regarding the school. Officers carried out a number of enquiries at the school, including a search of the premises, and nothing of concern was found.
"We want to thank staff and students who followed all protocols to ensure they remained safe and allowed officers to complete their investigation. There are no further concerns for safety at the school, and it remains open as normal.
"There will continue to be a heightened police presence within the area for anyone who may be concerned to speak to officers."
