There are a number of road closures in Surrey to be aware of this week in Surrey. After a major oil spill last week, the A24 continues to remain shut as Surrey Highways resurfaces the road from Beare Green to Ashtead. Givons Grove, near Leatherhead ’s junction 9 onto the M25. Elsewhere, there is disruption in Woking on three major routes - including in the town centre, where a six-week-long lane closure could lead to traffic and congestion building up. Read the full story here.
This week, certain routes are set to close overnight, such as on the M25 and the A3. Drivers will need to take diversions, which will be set out by National Highways. Ongoing road works at the Wisley Interchange will lead to closures near Painshill. Elsewhere, drivers will find closures near Heathrow, and in both directions on the link road to the M40.
