This summer you will find a range of overnight road closures in Surrey, impacting drivers planning on escaping the county for a holiday. Overnight, there are several road closures to look out for, which would impact travel.
Closures will heavily impact drivers in major areas like near Heathrow linking to the M40 and at Wisley joining the A3. Those taking flights from Heathrow, or heading into Berkshire will need to bear in mind that there will be some closures .
Diversions will be put in place, and National Highways will highlight these with yellow boards. Make sure to plan journeys, as roads can shut as early as 9pm.
The following morning, roads might reopen by 6am, however, closures can sometimes overrun due to weather like heavy rain and flooding.
