Great to talk on Radio Cymru today about the ‘White Paper on securing a path towards adequate housing, including fair rents and affordability….’ hmmm not the title we expected and is significantly watered down… but then you can’t provide what you haven’t got right??? I’m not totally convinced legislation is the right answer… we need long term investment beyond government terms of office… radical reform to the planning system, big investment in skills and people, huge focus on upstream prevention work … I could go on… will be interesting to see what the Affordable Housing Taskforce comes up with
