Heart FM and Britain's Got Talent star Amanda Holden says it's "like an insult" after her husband branded her "difficult".
The comment came to light when Ashley Roberts, Amanda's co-host on Heart FM, revealed that Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce is planning a grand birthday celebration for the pop star.
This led their fellow presenter Jason King (also known as JK) to ponder what one would do if they had to buy both a Christmas and birthday present for someone like Taylor Swift.
Amanda interjected: "Oh, I know and there's my husband saying, 'You're so difficult to buy for'. It's like an insult. He told me I was having a go at him last night because I kept saying, 'Why do you keep saying I'm difficult to buy for? It's like an insult'."
She insisted she's not hard to shop for, with Ashley agreeing: "No; actually, I feel like you're quite fun to buy for." However, JK hinted that whoever drew Amanda for Secret Santa might have said the same thing.
The busy TV judge, who is married to record producer Chris Hughes, recently confessed that her packed festive schedule means she'll miss their 16th wedding anniversary.
She admitted on-air that she's "literally got nothing [free] between now and Christmas", with plans to spend the day itself with school mums.
TV star Amanda married Chris in Somerset on December 10, 2008 and shares two children with him – Lexi and Hollie. Recently, Amanda spilled the beans about her husband's cheeky prediction that should they ever split, she'd be remarried "within the year".
The revelation came as Davina McCall joined her on air discussing her dating show, 'My Mum, Your Dad', highlighting how some women have been solo for ten years. To this, Amanda responded: "Oh my gosh; I can't imagine. I mean, this is going to make me sound shallow, but my husband always says I'll probably be married within the year if he left me."
She also let slip in November about a past "crush" on ex-football boss Jurgen Klopp during a chat with Alex Horne who mentioned wanting Klopp on Channel 4's Taskmaster.
Amanda admitted, "Amazing! I used to have a bit of a crush on Jurgen Klopp, my husband never understood it, especially because I'm an Evertonian."
She also explained her spouse didn't grasp the appeal, especially given Klopp's distinctive smile, but she added candidly, there's "something about him".
