Lauryn Goodman is keen on starting a life abroad - but her antics are being labelled "harassment" by Kyle Walker's wife Annie Kilner.
Lauryn, who shares two children with Manchester City star Kyle, is said to be looking into moving away from the UK for a fresh break. However, her revelation came just hours before it was announced the footballer has also expressed a desire for a new start abroad.
Kyle's marriage to Annie is hanging by a thread and it was thought any move for Kyle could help them make a fresh start of things with their four kids. His coach, Pep Guardiola, announced the defender was looking to leave the UK in a comment following his side's emphatic win over Salford in the FA Cu p.
There had been talk of Kyle looking for a move to the Saudi leagues, with speculation then mounting regarding his ongoing connection with Lauryn. However, a friend of Kyle and Annie revealed to Mail Online he is more focused on staying in Europe.
The source told the publication: "You have to wonder whether Lauryn was planning a move to Dubai because she thought that Kyle and Annie were off to the Middle East too. She has form for winding them up, particularly Annie, but it hasn't worked as they have no intention of going there.
"It wasn't long ago that Lauryn went to Cheshire and got herself papped outside estate agents to make Annie think she would be moving there. She thinks Lauryn is a total wind-up merchant and believes it is harassment."
However, a source close to Lauryn told the outlet: "This isn't the first time Lauryn has threatened to move there. There have been times in the past when she has felt she is on the losing side and, fed up of everything, she will say she is going off there."
Lauryn currently resides in a £2.4million home in Sussex which is owned by the England footballer with their two kids, Kairo, four, and Kinara, one. She has reportedly contacted lawyers about the possibility of renting the lavish property out for a year so she can make the move abroad.
A source told The Sun at the weekend: "It’s been a turbulent time for Lauryn and she is keen to have a change of scenery, where she can focus on the children. She loves the idea of living somewhere sunny, like Dubai, temporarily.
"Because Kyle owns the property, she has to ask his permission to rent it out. She would need to do that in order to be able to rent a property abroad. She’s no longer close to her family, so feels she doesn’t have any ties to the UK right now, and has loved taking her children abroad on holiday to get away from everything.”
Kyle and Annie, meanwhile, are thought to be eyeing up a move to Italy. Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Neither of them know what the future holds. But they're hopeful a switch to Italy will give them the breathing space they desperately need to see if things can be worked out. It's been impossible to do that in England due to the pressure they've been under for the last 12 months.
