Bradley Walsh wants to trademark the name The Prat Pack, hoping to coin it in doing TV and live shows with his star buddies.

The entertainer, 63, appeared in a variety show at the London Palladium with Brian Conley, Shane Richie and Joe Pasquale earlier this month.

They dubbed themselves The Prat Pack in a jokey nod to the Rat Pack of the 1960s which featured Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford.

Days after the Palladium show, Bradley filed papers at the Government’s Intellectual Property Office to trademark the name. Documents seen by the Mirror show he wants to ring-fence the name for the “production of television and cinema films; Theatre productions; Live musical theatre performances”.

Bradley is already one of the richest presenters on the box. He has built a multi-million-pound fortune with presenting jobs across the BBC and ITV on hit shows including The Chase, Gladiators, Blankety Blank and Wheel of Fortune.

The original Rat Pack were known for appearing together in Las Vegas casino venues and earned themselves a reputation as the bad boys of the showbiz world.

Bradley, comics Brian and Joe, both 62, and EastEnders star Shane, 60, wore dapper dress suits for their comedy and musical performance at the Palladium. They were supported by a big band.

After the show, Brian coined The Prat Pack name when he posted: “ITV missed a trick last night. They should’ve filmed it. What a great evening with my mates! #thepratpack.”

Joe posted: “A few pics from a fab night performing with my old mates Bradley Walsh, Shane Richie and Brian Conley at The London Palladium.” Fans went wild for them, one writing under the post: “This should be an arena tour!”
