A new bunch of celebrities have bravely read out mean tweets written about them on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Singer Nick Jonas’ tweet kicks off the segment, reading: “nick jonas was cute when he was back in the jonas brothers and now he looks like a ferret.”

Luckily, he appears to take it well and bursts out laughing.

Popstar Usher says to the camera: “Usher seems like he’ll stop in the dead ass middle of sex because he got chilly.” The tweet leaves the singer a little confused.

“Pink makes music for obnoxious white bridal parties that drunkenly walk into a Denny’s and ruin everyone’s evening,” the Grammy winner says out loud whilst laughing.

“That’s awesome,” actress and singer Zendaya insists after reading a tweet that describes her as skinny “like a bowl of spaghetti”.

“Niall Horan is ugly. Good night everyone,” the former One Direction star reads, taking the insult in his stride.

Jimmy Kimmel has been hosting the mean tweets segment for years and even got celebrities to read ones out about him in celebration of his 50th birthday last November.

“We gathered your celebrity friends to read some of your mean tweets,” a production member explained to Jimmy before a host of stars rattled off the insults.

“People that have tweeted mean things about Jimmy, we've got a bunch of celebrities [to read them],” the producer explained, while Jimmy asked, in disbelief: “People tweeted mean things about me?”

A montage of A List talent then proceeded to read out terrible things written about the comedian – with Jennifer Lawrence reading that someone thinks he has fake breasts and small feet, while Halle Berry read out an expletive filled comment.

All the mean tweets were from members of the public – but things got incredibly awkward when Kim Kardashian arrived to read out a tweet written by her own husband, the rapper Kanye West.

“At Kanye West says: 'Jimmy Kimmel put yourself in my shoes...,’” the reality star read – in her distinctive nasal tone.

’Oh no that means you would have gotten too much good p***y in your life’,” Kanye’s mean tweet concluded.

The reality star then somewhat cattily added: “Fair point, Kanye.”
