Stacey Solomon stepped in to defend new mum Molly-Mae Hague after she was cruelly mum-shamed.

Molly-Mae recently shared a photo of her and her newborn daughter Bambi enjoying a day out in the cold weather.

Little Bambi was wrapped up in layers of clothes while she peacefully slept in Molly-Mae's arms.

The mother-and-daughter duo seemed comfortable but it wasn't long before trolls started posting negative comments.

One shared their unsolicited advice: "Baby is too small to bringing outside to start taking this your pictures. Get some rest girl."

"That baby doesn’t feel cold?" one user asked but some fans defended Molly-Mae by writing: "Don’t be daft!"

The original poster hit back with: "I’m talking about the face. She looks uncomfortable."

But one fan added: "Looks pretty cosy to me."

Loose Women panellist Stacey defended her, as well, writing: "Adorable."

Molly-Mae has been the target of online abuse after welcoming her and Tommy Fury's son in January.

She recently received criticism for returning to the gym three weeks after giving birth to Bambi.

Reality star Amy Childs , who is expecting twins with her partner Billy Delbosq, defended Molly-Mae and said it's entirely her choice.

"Trolls giving Molly-Mae Hague grief about getting back into the gym after having Bambi need to back off - it's her body.

"It's entirely up to Molly what she wants to do - whatever makes her happy," she said.

Amy admitted that while she is supportive of Molly-Mae, she won't be hitting the gym so soon after her babies are born.

"After I give birth, I've got loads of stuff going on, so I think training for me probably won't be the first thing I'm thinking about," she wrote in her OK! column.

Molly-Mae was also defended by former Love Island winner Amber Gill.

Taking to Twitter to reply to trolls, Amber wrote: "??? Delete this."

Fans also threw their support behind Molly-Mae, with one person commenting: "So sad to see women tearing other women down due to jealousy."

"People think once you have a baby you need to cuddle it and hold it 24/7 get real," said a second.

Molly-Mae shared her return to the gym on Instagram, but explained that she had consulted her midwife before exercising again.
